Do I need a referral from my doctor to start physical therapy?

No, you do not need a referral start physical therapy!  Tennessee is a Direct Access and allows a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat clients without first seeing a physician.  However, if you plan to submit your invoice for reimbursement from your insurance company, they may require you to have a physician referral for physical therapy.  Each insurance plan is unique, so you will need to contact them to check.

Do you accept insurance?

OrthoPelvic PT is "out-of-network provider" meaning that we are not contracted with any insurance companies.  However, we will provide you with a detailed invoice called a "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.  Again, every insurance plan is different, therefore you will need to contact your insurance company to inquire about your specific policy and what they will allow.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, credit card (HSA/FSA is accepted) at time of service.  When scheduling on line, we ask that you provide a credit card to reservice your appointment, but it will not be charged until your visit is completed.  There are no hidden costs.

Is there a cancellation or no-show fee?

We ask that you provide at least 24hrs notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We reserve the right to charge a fee for late cancellations ($50) and no-show appointments (full price of service). This will allow all patients to continue to reserve appointments in timely manner.
